Your tote delivery and collection may happen at different homes, on different days, with very different access. A few details agreed in advance help both appointments go smoothly. Keep this checklist with your moving plan, and update us when an address, date, or access arrangement changes.
Before requesting your dates
- Choose the quantity of totes you expect to need and whether you want an optional handcart.
- Provide the delivery location and the address where the empty equipment will be collected.
- Choose delivery before you need to begin packing, and pickup after you expect to finish unpacking.
- Tell us if either date depends on a closing, lease, mover, or building appointment.
Our packages cover two weeks. A date request lets us check equipment and routing; it does not reserve inventory by itself. Both locations need to be confirmed within our service area, and the final quote must account for the route and access. Review the supplied rental terms before completing a booking.
Before delivery
- Tell us about stairs, gates, restricted parking, long walks, or elevator access.
- Check any delivery rules with your building or property manager.
- Agree on an accessible drop-off location and who will receive the equipment.
- Clear enough space for the empty totes, matching lids, and any rented handcart.
Do not assume that an unattended drop-off or a particular delivery time is available. Those details should be agreed as part of scheduling. When the equipment arrives, count it against the confirmed order and raise any missing lid or visible problem before you begin packing.
During the rental
Keep the equipment together and follow the handling instructions provided for the actual totes and handcart. You or your movers handle transport of packed belongings. If the move changes or you will need more time, contact us before the scheduled collection. An extension needs approval because the same equipment may be needed for another booking.
Before pickup
- Unpack every tote and check corners for small items.
- Gather all matching lids and rented accessories in the agreed location.
- Remove packing materials and leave the equipment reasonably clean and dry.
- Count the totes and lids, and report any missing or damaged equipment.
- Confirm access instructions and make sure the collection route is clear.
Pickup is for empty rental equipment after unpacking. Do not leave packed belongings for collection or assume they will be moved to storage. If you cannot have everything ready, tell us early so the available options can be checked.
For policy questions, read the rental FAQ. When you are ready to plan the delivery, send your dates and both locations through our quote request.
